Build a HVAC Filter Lifecycle Predictor — implementation

Linked challenge: Build a HVAC Filter Lifecycle Predictor

Prompt source

implementation75 lines11 sectionsNo variables1 code block
## Build
Combine AHU differential pressure telemetry with IFC equipment attributes to predict filter replacement intervals. Formulate service alerts with manufacturer filter specifications before airflow degrades.

## User
Indoor Air Quality Specialist

## Workflow
1. Ingest AHU filter differential pressure telemetry feeds.
2. Query the building IFC model for air handling unit specifications and filter sizes.
3. Detect pressure drop thresholds exceeding manufacturer service recommendations.
4. Dispatch structured filter replacement tickets into the facility work-order queue.

## Interface
Maintenance supervisor console with filter pressure gauges, telemetry timeline graphs, and a work-order dispatch panel.

## Data
Simulate AHU telemetry against open-source BIM models containing MEP air handling units from IfcOpenShell repositories.
Starter examples below are synthetic. They are not downloaded records.

## Source
[IfcOpenShell](https://raw.githubusercontent.com/IfcOpenShell/IfcOpenShell/v0.8.0/README.md)
Extracts AHU equipment metadata and filter specifications from IfcBuildingElementProxy and IfcPropertySet instances.

## Tools
mastra-ai, ifcopenshell, fastapi.
Mastra AI provides resilient workflow orchestration to trigger filter replacement alerts based on incoming differential pressure telemetry events.
Local or hosted LLM to translate airflow telemetry anomalies into standard maintenance instructions.

## Deliverables
Submit runnable source, pinned dependencies, setup commands, a working interface, example outputs, and a recorded end-to-end demo. Include tests and an action log.

## Acceptance
- Correlates raw sensor telemetry with corresponding IFC AHU element GUIDs.
- Triggers preventive service requests when differential pressure exceeds 200 Pa.
- Outputs work orders populated with IFC-derived equipment tags and filter specifications.

## Safety
Work-order dispatching is simulated. Physical equipment repairs require authorized lockout/tagout procedures by licensed technicians.
Use mock external writes. Require human review before any real deployment.
